    Andrew,
this piece will be viewed on the web. does it matter? is one better than the other? progressive is supposed to look more like “film” but its hard for me to tell. I need to get this footage transfered and I want to make the progressive footage interlaced so its all the same. can I do that?

exactly! That is what I am asking. I have 2 tapes of an interview. equal footage from both will be used and mixed together with multiclip. My assumption is to deinterlace the interlaced first and then edit together with the progressive? or can I just put a deinterlaced filter on the the one angle of the multiclip? or should I somehow try to match the progressive to the interlaced. Please excuse my ignorance, Im a newbie.
