I’ve been trying the Decklink driver for the past few days on my Kona SD. I work only in 24p. Since I switched to the Decklink driver I found that my Kona will now only play 24p in the non-24p 10 bit setup. If I use the 10bit 23.98 setup then the images really go crazy when playing and on one occassion actually crashed my machine. The odd thing is that 24p (23.976) sequences play fine in the NTSC 10bit setup. Is this a sign of something wrong with the card or a compatability issue?

I switched to the Decklink driver to see if it fixed the automatic pulldown detection for my telecined tapes. I could never get that to work with the normal Kona drivers. The card never seems to sync with the A frame. I’m getting tired of doing 10 second tests at the head of each tape to see which frame the Kona ‘thinks’ the A frame starts on. It thinks it’s different on each tape. Even the same tape if there is a restart between sessions.
Anyone else dealt with this issue?
