Sorry for being so vague, I hope the following is the info you are after –

The footage was shot in SD Pal 16:9, 25 fps using a Sony Hvr Z1,
I am not certain if it was interlaced or progressive – when I check the properties of the captured file in APP is states Interleave 1: 24.05

The Transcode,I assume this is the same as encode settings in Encore are –
Pal Dv High quality 4mb VBR 2 Pass

I have no idea why I have been exporting the files to Movie Microsoft DV Avi but have been doing so from day one for some reason, obviously now I realise I should have been exporting directly to Adobe Media Encoder from the APP sequence which I can do in this older version.
In the Encoder I assume I would use the MPEG 2 – DVD format and it then gives the following options
PAL DV 16:9 Low Quality – 3MB VBR 1PASS
– 3MB VBR 2PASS
– 4MB VBR 1PASS
– 4MB VBR 2PASS
– 6MB VBR 1PASS
– 6MB VBR 2PASS
I am unsure of which to choose?
The Dvd looks fine apart from the flickering in the background,walls, ground, car roofs etc
Any advice would be appreciated
