250 feet is a really long run for Svideo. Your likely to run into issues with the color and brightness. Use composite.
Signal strength isn’t the issue, but keeping things synchronized over such a long run is. composite will slightly lower quality, but should work fine. use decent cable. If you have to have a really long run somewhere, get a proc amp.
