Touche! Good show! The last time I was thinking about what you said i thought you meant press shft + 8 to get that astrix, and as such I was confused. But you sir, are right, that IS the shortcut for placing a marker in the layer.

I’m on a mac, and i can’t seem to find that Shortcuts.txt file. I could just be an idiot, but I’d hope thats not the case.
The first response was talking about a marker in the timeline, not the layer itself. the second response seems like what i need to do but can’t seem to find that file. any more specifics for where to find this file? Thanks again.
