    Sounds like a text box on the master page was slightly moved and is locked to the baseline, so it moves a whole line of text. Compare the position of the text frame in both documents and see if that’s the case.

  • Make the PDF again and see if you can click on the error message. It should give you a description of the error.

  • Do you mean just the photos or entire pages of text and images? If photos, just convert them to CMYK in Photoshop before placing into InDesign (check w/ the printer about using the correct ICC profile.)

    If text and photos, sorry, I would not recommend formatting an entire magazine in Photoshop. …your printer will cry.

    Nineteen cm roughly equals 7.5 inches. Just enter 7.5 inches for width and height in your document setup.

    Do you have facing pages checked in your document setup? If so, you need a right-hand and a left-hand page 1 for each master. Your document starts on a right-hand side page 1, so if you only have a left-hand page 1 in your master, InDesign doesn’t pick up the proper formatting.
