Thanks for all the help. I’ll check it out. Besides the synch issue the machine was also sluggish in performance. Now I am thinking its either a hard drive issue or the graphics card.

Thanks Michael, yes the sound was recorded separately. First in 30 TC and then 24 TC.

Ok, I updated the driver for the io hd but still there is no green led light after i powered the io hd as well in the control panel says the device is offline. checked all cables…
also fcp 7 doesn’t see the aja…Max Hoffmann

i know, it happened to my home cpu as well. my guess is the drive is fried. and as it is today is the day of a deadline. thanks again
