  • thanks yikesmikes for that.

i did think that Dan Ebberts would have an expression that could help. i animated a ‘band’ playing music using expressions and ‘sound keys’ some time ago.

but i also thought it would get beyond my control – expression language wise.

i will try the expression you gave me.

i have solved my problem, had to get the job done, by just animating lots of different paths/routes for water particles/dots to take. and then duplicating the layers and off setting em over time + a little ‘wiggle’ now and then.

worx fine but not the neatest solution – particles would be.

thanks for your time and help though.

    hi…

    just watched it.

the people are separate from the ink. they are shot separate and keyed and then tinted black.
the ink has been shot on video i guess and there is some particle work there too that could be done with particular. but the people are not particle work they are straight video keyed, tinted, masked and then composited into the ink shots.

not saying i’ve done anything like that but i can see how it has been gone about.

    hi..

to check the print quality just save a frame out and open it in Photoshop.
the dpi will be 72. uncheck the ‘resample’ check box b4 you change it to your desired print res – i do my photo prints at 240dpi, but 180 is ok these days, with a good printer – the print size will change to match your dpi and that is how big your print will be.

1024/576(pal) will print 10.8 by 6.1 cm at 240dpi. i just checked by making a file in photoshop.

    hope that helps…regards…max
