I just got my new D7100.

And noticed the 25p is jerky when played directly from the cam’s HDMI into my Samsung TV. The tv says it’s 1080 60i. So that’s the camera output and not the video file.
Video taken with 30p displays correctly.
In Premiere pro the mov files 24 25 30 are jerky to.
My small Sony 25p AVCHD files playback “smooth” in premiere.

So I didn’t answer your question, but just to let you no I’m struggling here too.

So maybe after a few more days experimenting i’ll be able to help.
