We didn’t change anything in the “NAME” field on CatDV. The producer CatDV desktop version is 10.0.6 where all the logging took place. We notice in edit and the version running is 10.0.5. Maybe this happened with the send to premiere CS6 feature on two different version. We are running CatDV server enterprise Professional edition. Any feed back would be great. Thanks

June 11, 2013 at 11:30 am in reply to: CatDV files sent to Premiere Pro CS6 with error message saying THE PROJECT APPEARS TO BE DAMAGEDThanks is for getting back to me, I think I’ve figured out what happened. We imported some P2 footage into catdv and then sent that footage to the worker to begin making proxies, and during the process we were logging the clips at the same time and saving to the server while the worker was building proxies. I think catdv doesn’t like that to much and it caused the catalog to become unusable. That’s the only solution I can get out of all this.

performing housekeeping on the server and when I import the same footage again I see the the same error message. This has been really weird. Not sure what else to do. Any ideas? -

April 15, 2013 at 11:35 pm in reply to: CatDV doesn’t like m2t files, what are my options? Thanks for writing back, from what Iv’e heard is that H.264 isn’t a good codec to edit in so I’m leaning on flipping them to DVCPROHD for archive and any possible edits in the future. Any thoughts on using DVCPROHD?
Thanks

April 15, 2013 at 11:30 pm in reply to: How to print multiple disc number on spanned discs disc 1, disc 2, and so onThanks you for writing back, I am using QuickDisc and Iv’e tried everything and I just can seem to get it to work. If you can send me specific details on how to do it that would help me out a great deal! The model I’m using is Rimage everest 600.
Thanks again.
