I Know I’m late to the party, but here’s a way to do it.

Edit the clip…or don’t.

Mark your clip in and out.

Make sure the clip is selected.

Go to File >Export >Media.

Select your export settings.

At the bottom left, in the “Source Range” drop menu, select “Sequence In/Out”
