Nevermind..Got it..It was a voltage issue.

Thanks Dave..We have Killer Tracks that we use for our visitor channel broadcast. This is for a blu-ray DVD project. So we cant use leased tracks. The royalty free tracks we have been searching seemed markedly lower in quality.

Thanks Jeremy..gonna compare from previous exports to compressor version…still would like to troubleshoot why a custom export throws these strange vertical “jaggies”. Perhaps a HDV component that is updated within QT 7.6.6 but not bundled within 7.6.4?

The vertical lines that appear is very subtle. almost looks like vertical interlace lines..bit its there. Work around for now is use to use compressor..but would like to keep previous workflow for the export. This codec (HDV 720P30) is what we have to use to playout of our Omneon for broadcast.

Making HDV 720p30 from DVCPro 720p 59.94
System with older version OS and QT version works fine. Other 2 with updates do not?

Thanks I got it..”read the notes before you install new drivers!” I should know better by now..uninstalled previous drivers using AJA uninstaller. Genlock set to video in..Fine now

that’s a valid point but it’s a a company system and they would like to keep her limping along without spending any $$$. Just gonna transfer and wipe.. That outta do it. Just was hoping to avoid the time.
