Yes, this is what I have been doing, but Vegas doesn’t seem to cut .m2t files when you save it this way. Is that a restrictions in Vegas Movie Studio Platinum. I am running version 9.0b (build 92).

Thanks this worked. Too bad Vegas can’t do this automatically when you save the media with the project.
