Hey Jon, I found someone else that’s having the EXACT same problem as me. Here’s the link: https://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=1179148#1179148

If you scroll down on that page you’ll see he uploaded a pic and that’s exactly how my program monitor is showing the black bars. It looks like someone told him how to fix it but, I can’t find 1.0 Pixel in my project settings. All I see is the DV NTSC 0.9 Any ideas?

Hey Jon, thanks for the reply. I tried doing what you said. I opened a new project at NTSC 48k 4:3 and then imported my project from Premiere 6 but, the bars are still there. One thing I forgot to mention is that when I import a project from Premiere 6 into Premiere Pro CS3, I get something that says something like “This project is from a previous version of Premiere and must be converted. Project itself will not be changed.” And I have to press either continue or it will cancel. Then, after I press continue, another message appears that says something like “Premiere was unable to open the project in this mode and will now open in Desktop mode”. And then the project finally loads. I don’t see how this would cause the 4:3 vertical black bars to appear on video clips that are already in 4:3 aspect ratio though! Any thoughts on what to try next????
