well kinda but im wondering if say the footage is video footage and i wanted to add top bottom left right sides if needed to the additional footage it needs to joins to.

say if somebody was speaking and one footage has only partial the face and you have another footage source which has the right side and the remaining right side footage, if its posisble to jon the two to complete the visual

its a multi layer project with several other plug ins used. its got about 1hr 30 footage

    the system is a 8gb ddr2 memory q6600 cpu watercooled on windows 7 x64 with cs5

with the digi effects plugn, what would be the normal render time for such length, becuase to me it jumping from 15 hours to over 500 hours just by selectign that plugin seesm to tell me theres a specific bit of hardware im needing to accelerate the process if cuda has been stated to never be added to work within after effects.

lol. i actually got in touch with their live chat.

funny how a company that has a site which was updated with this page, they seem to not have a clue about it.

the women kept sending me to the link stating the plugin was no longer beign done. and i wa slike yes i can read but when you ie red giant post an recent page stasting its not an update for cs5, people that have been waiting for an update for it to work with cs5 and multi core systems like me are eagerly wanting it.

in the end, she stated she had no idea about the page and that is was not true.

yeah i think i came to that thought last night, so i saved each layered clip as a preset and marked there times down for each one and went that route.

from what im reading, this only works with single layers.

so how do i do this with multiple layers., as all layers have different settings of the same filter.

my appologise, i have a previous project which has a single effect on all the layers. but i now want those settings ie the effects in the project to now be in the newer project which has far more work done on it, but i need the previous project “effect” settings onto this newer project.

i know now how to add effect settings from a layer and add them to all selected layers in a project, i just dont know how to take the effects settings from a previous project and add to the newer project.

    hope this is clearer
