If I manage some spare time with the camera I’ll do some shots at 48 fps with both shutter speeds and upload it to share here. Once again thank you very much Todd and Rick!

  • After making some tests I’ll be setting in making some home made paint with blue or green Mika flakes and moisturizer 🙁 Not the best solution for a chroma key paint that is going to be pouring on top of a person but: – Health wise it’s safe since it’s going to come in contact with skin and I can fine tune it to achieve the consistency that I need. Any further ideas on what kind of paint should I use?

Thanks for the amazing answer Todd! The idea of ripping the vimeo video and checking it out on a timeline was fantastic, I´ll do this since unfortunately the Sony FS7 I’ll be using is rented for the exact amount of shooting days so I won’t have a lot of time to make tests and see what works best.

  • Thanks! The green suit wouldn’t work because the idea of the video is to show the chroma key slowly dripping over the person until completely covering her. My main worries is that using regular paint it wouldn’t be thick enough or be slightly transparent affecting the keying after. Thanks for the answer though! I’ll buy some and test them.

  • Sorry. Another link for the video: https://youtu.be/cF7hO_7AAwc

I have three Sony EX3 and I’m having the same problem with two of them. All of them are Sony EX3- FIRMWARE 1.04_0084. Making some tests if I change the lens of the only camera thats working with the Libec controller it starts to show the problem of always zooming out.

Any one found a solution for this already? Would take the controllers to UK if I wasn’t shooting in Beirut right now.
