    Yes I did render the whole sequence before exporting. no more red or green lines above the timeline.

    Hi,

    as Greg says its not a DEMO thing.
    I’ve now tried all alternatives.

    I checked the quicktime bin and as you said,
    the “AppleHDVCodec.component” is missing.
    I dont know why… if it’s normally in the FCP installation package.

    Can I order/download that component from somewhere additionally?

    in general… the video of my mp4-clips should be fine. i can see and listen to it with the VLC player perfectly.

    Thanks guys for all the replies.

    So what I did now… I deleted the“CalibratedXDCodec.component”
    from Library/Quicktime because i got FCP 6.0.6 installed on my Mac.

    The “CalibratedMP4EXQ.component” I kept in this bin
    and tried to Log and transfer directly from FCP.

    I can listen to the audio of the clips but can’t see the video.
    When I “transfer” the Clip into FCP it has audio but video is just a white frame.

    Any ideas? The installation of FCP was fine without errors.

    Hi Rafael,
    thanks. but if i delete “Calibrated” then i have no codec for my EX shots and xdcam transfer tells me: “missing codecs….”.
    which one must i use / which one is compatible then?
