Here is an exemple of the use of the membrane filter from apple motion in a tutorial from M. John Dickinson.

Well, No matter what setting I choose in compressor for outputing (DVD,etc), The result stay the same… I had export it to a .m2v file that I have import in DVDSP and burn, it still look ugly! I still have those “scan line” problem where theres motion some kind of frame not aligning correctly. I don’t have this problem when exporting with Quicktime. And I don’t think that compressor is stupid enough to make me encode the same sequence in “progressive scan” and “interlaced” two times (or do I?) Even if I look on my MacbookPro lcd, I shouldn’t see those “waving frames”.

My point was that just by looking at the sequence without any compression setting or so applied to it in compressor 1:1, the result should be exactly the same as when viewing that sequence in FCP.

Thanks I do hope someone will find the answer on that one.
