I had problems loading a project too and in the end it was caused by RAM incompatibility. I had 8GB DDR3 in a Win7 system. The sales guy assured me that OCZ Gold and OCZ Obsedian would work together, but this turned out to not be the case. When I removed the second bank (Obsedian chips) and worked with just the 4GB in bank one, the loading problem vanished. I’ve since purchased 4GB additional of the same manufacture and designation (gold) and am in good shape now.

I don’t know if this helps anyone, but I wanted to share what had resolved my problem and salvaged my work.
