Yes, and that didn’t work either, but I have yet to really dig deep into the software. Mutliple playheads seem to work only for your current timeline not the offline.

Isn’t pro rez a compressed format? I am not a FCP guy so I am not that familiar with it. I don’t want to take a compressed format (mov) and then compress it again in Pro Rez. What are your thoughts?

We were using no compression, but I have since discovered that the footage, which was shot on Varicam, is only 8 bit not 10 bit, so a 10 bit codec would not help us anyway. I don’t know if you have used this format, but it is really NOT good. Filled with problems. Thanks for responding however.

Thanks. I want to play back a 16×9 SD Video on a 16×9 sd screen with no black letterboxing. Should I stretch out the video in FCP (anamorpic) or should I leave it alone in the sd 4×3 project? And in compressor do I pick 16×9 or 4×3? Tha nks
