Thank’s Dave and David for the fast response. I’m a shooter primarily and own a Sony F55 (1080 4:2:2/50) As a low light supplement I’m thinking of getting a sony a7s 4:2:0/50 and wonder if shooting in 4K will help its picture but I’ve never seen 4K downsized to HD – look all that different, thus the question..

I do like to sharpen after fine cut but don’t have much knowledge about that and it’s a dangerous exercise.
Any AE plug ins you like for sharpening or noise for that matter..

Thanks for the quick Reply Tom – right you are. There’s another change as client needs to go to 30p!

Original Time of sequence on 25p timeline (xdcam source footage 25p) 00:04:55:20
Created new sequences from the file/new/sequence/etc
Then copy pasted everything to that..
Time on 30p sequence 00:04:55:00
20 frame difference yet no lip flap even in last 30 secs of video – maybe not enough to count?
Perhaps a longer program would yield more lip flap later?
I’m not looking for problems – I am happy…and incredulous

Thanks Dave I’ll try that. Also I can’t render fast motion anymore – so to get around that problem I booted into snow lpard where M100 ver 1.51 resides, only problem there is when you open a bin (from a ver 13project.) – you get no bin – what year is it again?

Update to my problem, the reason I couldn’t find the BIN is that my mac thinks I have 2 monitors.
The Bin was open on the other “desktop.”
I just recently plugged in a single 30 cinema display. The old display was also a single not a double.
OS X thinks I have 2 monitors – does anyone have a routine for removing a monitor?
Do I need to zap the pram? and How do I do that in snow leopard?

There is an Aja patch coming out to fix this issue..at least on the mac, intel , not sure…
