and with D7 it is even worse, so we have to wait for the actual camera and see how it behaves
    before any critics.

i will get my superb hobby camera to film my personal stuff uncompressed.
just was wondering if to get nikon d4 and bm recorder for that. now there is camera that has
both features in one body and one can use those on small tv spot stuff if needed.
beats canon any day. more stuff to make stabilizations etc on 2,5 k compared to hd h264.

by description and price point i see it as great product. still you have to have nice glass
    and good light.

i get that now with red also so it really depends how good use they will give to camera.

it is more about the users not the camera today.

still at that price point this is just amazing!

one still needs to have nice glass and nice lighting to make most of it as with any other camera.

    lovely product!

i really depends how you will use it. if you have all workflow in mind from raw to resolve you will be fine.
You can not cut corners on light anyway. i see here daily people use red or alexa and result is big pile of s… so it really depends who and how uses the camera.

i see it as fantastic alternative for canon and nikon cameras and even alexa.

price point will make sales explode!

if you go away from h264 you will “capture” the quality and probably will not loose any more.

processing h264 over and over will most likely loose quality in the end of the pipeline if
    re rendered many times.
