We had a thread not so many days ago.
R3D runs mostly on CPU so i believe even if GPU would scream it dose not make your machine
much faster as data lane speed and cpu speed will not be amplified.—

In tech sense there should be difference as regular pc runs had the speed of macvids one on data bus.

if you scrub on timeline rr will make it to lag relatively a lot and it will annoy you really soon.
