K5000 Quadro Card
Posted by Charles Haine on November 12, 2012 at 4:36 amAnybody know anything about the new K5000 Quadro Card?
The specs are bragging about 4k processing, is it too much to hope this would allow .R3D work without a RED Rocket?
thanks,

R3D runs mostly on CPU so i believe even if GPU would scream it dose not make your machine
much faster as data lane speed and cpu speed will not be amplified.—

But why would I want a UI on a 4K screen ?A slice of color…

November 12, 2012 at 8:12 amI dont agree. R3d performance is much and much better with a CUDA GPU card in Premiere than without.
Its a matter of time that the GPU will catch up -

Premiere and Resolve use cuda differently.
