What frame rates you get ?
I get 24 – 25 fps on my 4000 with prorez HD on playback.
With few blur nodes it slows down frame or two.Machine is 2010 12 cored 2.93GHz mac pro.
Tracing is amazing fast.—

I could give it a go next week how it will work if you are interested.
I can “simulate” 120 and ati combo as i have both here.
In theory it would be great for training.

120 has some 32 cuda cores i believe.
It will start but playback is really slow as you could expect.
This combo seems like mac book pro where you have gui gpu and nvidia gpu.
Stuff will work for exploring and learning.—

I think you manage rendering with your timeline fps.
It affects rendering frame rate directly.

Some have sayed that video apps use yuv and cgi apps use rgb.
Go wonder.
Pretty similar discussion is going on in reduser forums.
