hmm yes, I investigated and it seems that the HA,HG,HX,HE’s picture size is 1920 x 1080/50i, and that the difference is not going to be massive on quality, I think that my best option for now will be to film in one of those. Thanks all for the help x

the other recording modes are HA1920, HG1920, HX1920,and HE1920, will all of these be lower quality than 1080p50?

Hmm,thanks for getting back to me..
I tried log and transfer as 1080i50 and it doesn’t recognise the file. I’m not sure I understand the 50htz on Pal (and I am in the uk)is there a setting for this? my camera doesn’t appear to have the option of shooting in 1080p30 so so far it looks like clipwrap is the only option, is there a free alternative?
