I created with Sony the jpegsequences, so it shouldn’t have any problems with them and I guess that the jpegs have more information than the png’s.
2.) I don’t think that it depends on the computer specs, because I have no problems to render videos for example. it has something to do with the timeline. vegas doesn’t put the frames in the length that I need to have 24 frames per second.
But I will make a test by rendering the sequence in the formats you proposed.

Sony Vegas has to put the frames together to get the oroginal 24 frames, so that it looks as the original.

because it would be like rendering a slow-mo video of 60p in 24fps.
what i need is that my jpegsequence is in sync with my original audio.

if you use the plugins or whatever on photoshop for a special idea or sequence it can be very interesting but a time-eater, if you don’t have a fast computer.
yeah, my gh2 can shoot in 24fps and I wanted the exact movement when importing the sequence into sony vegas, but the video is a bit slower than the original and I can’t sync the audio.

I don#t understand why with Sony VP10 it was much faster, with great quality

I’m using this template:
Video: 24 fps
1920×1080 Progressive; YUV; 16Mbps
Profile: High
Pixel aspect ratio: 1,0000
Bit rate: 16.000.000
Encode mode: render using CPU only – have to use this because else I have problems with the audio.

thank you very much for taking time. I already tried the MainConcept encoder, but it took incredibbly long and I wasn’t satisfied with the results.
I tried out the Sony AVC on SVP 11 and it seems to work better for me, but I still am not very happy with it. the look is grainy and not close to what my GH2 is capable of.
