Hey Arnie and Shane,
I have installed Kona Card 2 w break out, and using an hd lcd tv to monitor. Any idea why the tv is showing / producing lines in playback on the screen. I tested the tv in other applications and the lines are not there. They are being produced by the set up. Is there a specific set up that i am overlooking here. I was testing a hd timeline that is hd 1080 60i? Please help… -

Im just entering this world on a semi professional level adn i know i should get a mac pro, but it seems that the G5 can get the job done if configured. Was wondering Shane what else should i add to the g5 to make it work great with the Kona 2?
And actually i buying the KONA2 for a very reasonable price, way below the 1200, it seems like a great deal now with your comments. -
Will this set up also work for good hd monitoring? What would be a fair price to buy this card used?

Did this sytem work for you? I am trying to upgrade my g5 system with a kona 2 card, is it worth it or shoudl i just wait to get a Mac pro?
