I've been an editor for 17 years and have developed a strong sense of story structure and aesthetic style. I write, create title sequences, composite images including 2.5D animations using Photoshop and After Effects. In addition to taking projects on from start to finish, I often come onboard once a rough cut is built as Story Consultant or Senior Editor. Being a musician I'm able to work well with composers and graphic artists. I'm a low stress, high output sort of individual, which makes for a comfortable, creative and effective environment to work in. Ego is not my thing, the story is paramount.

"Alive Inside", explores the link between music, memory and therapy. Winner of the 2014 Sundance Audience Best Doc Award.

"Latino Americans", a 6 hour PBS series about US history through the experiences and influences of Latinos. 2014 Peabody Award winner.

"The Rugby Player" Explore the life of Mark Bingham, one of the passengers on United Flight 93 on 9/11. Cinequest screening 2014.

"The Storm That Swept Mexico", a 2 hour film outlining the revolution of 1910, the cultural renaissance and national identity that followed. 2010 LA Latino IFF selection. Aired on PBS in 2011.

'Writ Writer', a jailhouse lawyer alerts the public to the unconstitutional practices in the TX penal system in the 1960s, bringing about statewide change. 2008 screening at SxSW IFF. Aired on PBS in Spring 2008.

"A Dream in Doubt" follows a Sikh's journey to find justice after his brother is killed 4 days after 9/11. Aired on PBS in 2008. Honorable Mention 2007 SlamDance IFF. Best Documentary at The AZ IFF 2007.

"China Blue", explores globalization, child labor and the price for inexpensive goods. Award winner at IDFA 2006. PBS airing in 2007.

"Long Gone" a film about hobos was awarded best documentary in the 2003 Slamdance IFF.

'Test of Courage: The making of a Firefighter', Bronze Medal 2000 Houston IFF. Aired on PBS in 2000.
