By the way, Paul, I transferred it to DVD using DVD Studio Pro at hihest resolutiion, and it looks the same on the TV monitor.

Well, I did everything you suggested in all combinations, and there’s still no change. I assume that when you said “flicker free filter” you meant the flicker filter in Video Filters–Video.
I can send you the still (2.2MB) but you would need to make it move (starting in somewhat and zooming out as you move from right to left), but that would take time and I don’t want to impose.
I may just have to use stills with fewer problems.

Thanks,Paul, for that important information which I will use for all stills in the future. But I tried it and it didn’t solve this problem. I’m using a Goya etching with horizontal ripply lines over which I move down and across, causing the ripples to come alive like water. It’s lovely but not what I need. Any other ideas?
