    Hey there, im playing the video off a my passport 1 tb hard drive, usb 3.0 I believe.

    Could you refer me to a guide on the best way to set up scratch disks and hardrives to edit?

    Because ive been meaning to look into that too and refresh my memory on how the program links media and such.

    As far as the codec and file format for previews, i would love to hear the best reccomendations and or how they function.

    The file format options are;
    Microsoft avi

    And a bunch of p2 ranging from 1080p dvcpronhd to dvcpro50 pal

    Codec options range from:
    Intel iyuv
    Lagarith lossless
    Microsoft rle
    Microsoft video 1
    Uncompressed uyvy
    And v210 10bit.

    Current settings are microsoft avi with intel iyuv
    And its been pretty good for playback considering i havent rendered timeline yet.

    I havent rendered because ive seen warp stabalizer clips being top black bottom vissible as soon as i start rendering.

    Thanks for getting back to me!

    Regards,
    MB.
