Okay, so I’m attempting to do the classic dog head on a human body trick.

Here’s what I’ve got so far:

The body itself will be a live action human. I plan on painting there faces green. I shall then key out there face and do a junk matte around their hair

Once I’ve filmed the live action in-store shots, I’ll film the dogs in a studio against a screen.

The dog will be wearing a dress shirt and tie (whatever apparel that matches the live footage).

I’ll have the live action .stuff on a monitor so that we can match the angle as closely as possible.

I plan on using the actor

Also, if I were to buy a Sapphire box set, what would be the pros vs cons of buying the set for Avid as opposed to AE?

I mean, obviously I wouldn’t have to export as many QT back and forth if I could do some of my fx work in Avid.

As of now, I do all of my fx work in AE. I essentially use Avid to import capture my footage and do a rough cut.
