hello again! so i just realized that the in my case, i have to have the headphones plugged into the desktop at all times if i want the playback to work… so hopefully it’ll work for you when you have earphones plugged in with the audio setting set to speaker not output.

hello! I had the same issue with my premiere pro…
I tried so many different things and nothing worked but when i went into the audio preference option and into the audio hardware, and changed the default speaker output from output to speaker(realtek high def audio) then the playback magically started working! hope this works for you!
