I had a feeling. This client seems to insist that what is on tape is HD. I knew something was wrong. Thanks for the help!

My frame size is fine. This ‘Out of Memory’ error is just getting worse and worse and NOW crashing FCP altogether.
I am not doing anything I haven’t done before; footage codec is the same, shot with the same camera – everything. It just seems really random that it is doing this.
I’ve tried removing the stills, I’ve tried changing the sequence settings from h.264 to Apple Pro Res.
Any other suggestions?

I know this thread is old but seems the problem is super easy to fix.
Yes, output from FCP7 with XML4 – I had my client complain that when he opened it in FCP6 it was all offline. I simply performed ‘Reconnect Media’ and it all lined back up beautifully!
And for the record, this is the ONLY website that got me to the right answer.
