But you should use only one merged layer as FCP is not able to
update resized PSD layers and that’s what is happening when
changing text layers …Or you use Motion between PSD and FCP …

FCP already does it. Drop your formats in one timeline, activate unlimited realtime and go for it.
Of course it depends the system speed which formats can be mixed in realtime … -
Oh come on … hardware scopes say nothing about
quality of anti-aliasing. Watch the image quality
and decide by your self. I do have a HD-D5 to
compare. -
