Thanks. None of that worked, so I just imported the files again. I guess in the future, I just can’t name things in sequential order, as that’s when AE thinks it’s a sequence. What a pain in the butt. I really have yet to find anything that I like about AE.

Thanks, I color correct in both FCP and Color quite often. I’ve worked in FCP for 10 years, I just needed some guidance as to what “Looks” was.

Yes, thank you. I understand that it doesn’t come with FC7, which is why I was searching for a plugin. I will check out the website.

Ha. I was having issues with my video freezing. However, I discovered (after posting) that the issue was with my drive, even though it was Firewire. Once I copied it onto my SATA-connected drive, it worked just fine. I would have thought about it earlier, but I got no sleep last night, and CC wouldn’t let me just delete the thread.

I’ve tried playing it in about 4 different programs, but I never use VLC, so I gave it a try. Nope. It has to be the files. I emailed the client yesterday, but I haven’t heard back from him yet.

Well, it seems to be working now. Weird – I’ve never had this problem before. All I did was copy them onto a different drive, but one that didn’t have a ton of stuff on it.

    Yes, I’m doing nothing different.

I did look more closely at the files – some of them are ridiculously large (like 50GB after converting). Perhaps the drive is having issues because they’re so big? I’m copying them to a different drive to see if it makes a difference (and also because I’m running out of room – I have about 30 of these files to convert, and I need them all in the same place).

Everything seems correct, nothing stands out to me. And yes, the sequence settings match the codec. 🙂

    They’re on a 2TB drive with a FW connection.

Thanks! I appreciate your input; I’ll give that a try.
