Thank you all for your responses and wisdom. I’m looking around for a CS3 version for the boy. I did think about the academic discount but didn’t think they’d give me one for an 8th grader.

Great points on the money making part of my son’s learning AE. If he wants to go to art school he’s got to start earning now.
