Shortly after graduating with a BA in zoology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, I got into informal science education. I worked for SoundWaters aboard a schooner that offers marine ecology field trips for students in 1992 and for a small zoo in Austin from 1993 to 1994. I decided to start my own environmental education organization in mid-1994 and have now reached millions with my songs, live performances and videos.

I specialize in elementary school presentations that provide accurate science information with a blend of music, puppetry, images and comedy. I think my best ages are 2nd-5th grades but I love the little ones too.

I provide for all my own technical needs and event planners (mostly librarians) frequently tell me I'm one of the easiest performers to work with and one of the most engaging programs. You could say I'm a triple threat: award winning songs and stories, dynamic live performances and professional work ethic!
