  • so i attempted with my xbox again, setting it to 720p again and set it to 720p 59.4 in media express still to no avail just a black screen on blackmagic express and my monitor flickers inbetween and when i unplug the shuttle but shows no signal.
did the same with 1080i no dice not sure what i should do next or what i mightve done wrong,
is it possible for someone to help me over teamviewer or something?
Just attempted with my camera on all the settings none of them picked up, plugged camera nd 360 directly to monitor just to double check they work.

im so tilted been a few hours now, ive reinstalled the drivers the firmware should be up to date
what should i try next i may have missed?

  • ithought the intel link i posted was the latest one i was quite wrong it was from december 2011 i think that might be the culprit i selected the (Version 2.1.28.1 Pour Windows Xp/Vista/7 32/64bits) 19/1/2012 and have just installed it and restarted.

Im going to try those video settings now for the xbox, how do find out what resolution my camera displays at btw? and are there other alternative programs to black magic express i can test?

Ill try component cables if i get the chance atm all i have is hdmi

ill post back again with results attempting now appreciate the help once again guys hopefully this works now.

  • Version 2.1.28.1 my version as of now after installing the updates firmware is 4015

I uninstalled and reinstalled black magic desktop 9.1 and attempted again with my xbox 360 i attempted all the 720p modes and then switched the display to 1080p and did the same for the 1080p options still no video has been displayed yet 🙁 followed instructions on the pdf my firmware is higher than the required version 3.0.2.5 and same with the driver version 2.0.4.0.
Anything im doing wrong possibly? been at it for a few hours now 🙁

  • sorry for the double post but can i double check i have everything connected properly

    so i have:

    Xbox——> hdmi cable–> Intensity shuttle—>PC monitor
    +
    +
    +
    Usb cable
    +
    +
    Laptop

Is this the correct setup so the xbox isnt directly connected to the monitor and neither is the laptop everything goes through the shuttle?

  • Renzas USB 3.0 Host controller i believe from checking on device manager, could it possibly have anything to do with that nec driver thingy sorry im not too clued up with this streaming thing.

  • I tried connecting each one seperately set my xbox to 720p and tried again seems to no avail same with my camera possibly anything i may be doing wrong?
I cant seem to perform that trick where you press record to kickstart it since the options just arent available or maybe ive got it wrong?
Also when i hit capture it says media express could not cpature the clip one or more frames were dropped

I have an inkling it might be drivers because when i stick in the shuttle it says installing it completes quickly sometimes so i reinstalled but nothing seems to have changed on that front :(.

I have screenshots of what i have with me if you want a video let me know if that helps the problem solving,

im going to try it now then ill post results hopefully i can get it working appreciate the speedy response.
