With 3.0.4.2, I am not able to see previews for the various emitter libraries like I used to (when I am searching among the various libraries, looking for one to open).

That’s a good idea too. I have done that in the past, as a work-around for other Premiere problems. Although I know that it isn’t always a problem-free thing to bring in a Premiere project into AE (sometimes things don’t translate well). But I probably won’t do the uncompressed AVI thing, because of time and disk space. But thanks for the great ideas and for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate it.

Dude, I will check into this. Ever since I installed the newest QT, I have had troubles, including with online players. (and yes, I do have AE, along with the other apps in the Production Premium suite.)

Unfortunately, I have CS3, not CS4. I do not plan to upgrade my Production Premium Suite again until CS5.
