Glad you got it sorted, sounds like a saga to sort out. thanks for the link I just went there and apparently with a Mountain Lion and Mac OS operating system i don’t need to download a plug -in. am a novice at digital editing and wondered if this could be possible as seems to easy. Dont want to start merrily logging original footage without compressing and find a problem in a couple of months time. If you could spare 2 mins to advice me i would be very grateful. Best wishes, liz
