In the properties, would setting it to best make it any worse or better.

And (hopefully) one last question for this thread, I’m rendering these videos in ~5min parts and after I have all the parts I will render them into one long video. I do that to minimize the trouble I have to go to if only a few seconds of the video is to be omitted.
Is rendering a video and then rerendering with more video gonna compromise the quality?

I plan to deliver on DVD but not in DVD format with titles and scenes, only because DVD holds more than a CD. One long video file in continuous play.

Total video will be aprox. 75 min.

What’s the best output format to deal with? (now I’m using MP4)

all my footage is 720×480 and from the same camera.

I would appreciate if you can tell me what properties to set it on to get the most of it.

Even when I set the properties HD 1080 60i the rendered video is 736×416.

I’m currently rendering to MP4 because on a previous instance it proved to be a lot smaller file size and clearer. (44 sec clip: AVI- ~160mb, MP4- ~8mb. and the MP4 file didn’t mess around with the colors).

When I say “get the most of it”, I basically want to know the best way to convert my SD to HD without losing much, (or is it better just to leave it on SD?). I’m producing a memories video which is to be distributed at a camp reunion. They want it to be as clear and in as high quality as possible.

how many photos did you see? I originally posted 3 and the first circle is an original orange circle I drew on adobe photoshop.
