    Hi,

I’m experiencing this issue as well. Do you recall if you were able to resolve it?

So now I’m really baffled. I tried another sequence from a different project, which was initially also non-drop and changed the sequence to drop frame and the edl manager worked as expected, it produced a drop frame edl. So of course I tried my other sequence again, thinking that I got edl manager to “snap back in”, but nothing doing, still giving me the non-drop frame.

AuxTC sounds interesting, I’ll need to look into that. Don’t think that would help with this though, if changing the entire sequence doesn’t help.

Oh, I though the first FCM referenced the source, since my sequence is set to drop frame…?

In your example the three sources were in the same sequence? How do you change the source of the actual clip?

    Thanks again for your help.

    Interesting.
This is what it gives me:

    Thank you Michael.
Oh, I see. So it is telling me that the source is drop frame, but what it is outputting (recording?) is non-drop frame.
So I need to get it to record drop frame. I set the “Record TC” to “30DF”, but it still doesn’t give me the drop frame time.

Yes, I am using the standalone EDL Manager from Avid.

    Thanks
    Le
