  • So I’m trying to record anime scenes and make a video of them. The clip I showed was of an anime movie where they usually have 24 fps. I’am using a screen capture program it’s GeForce Experience by NVidia and have it set to record at 60 fps which is probably why it’s messing it up. I still have problems with the masking so maybe I’ll try and record it at 30 fps since there’s no option for 24 fps.

  • Woooow I’m not 100% sure but I can take a very sure guess the source file is originally 24 FPS and I recorded it at 60 FPS. That probably explains it but the weird part is I started a new project (File > New) and masked the same thing and when I rendered it the video was fine. I’ll try this though first thanks guys

  • I’m sorry! It’s tough to explain exactly but I’ll try again. Ok so, I’m trying to mask the black area around the guy to have scenes behind him being played (like he’s in front of all the action). I masked the black areas around him frame by frame. At the beginning of the video you can see on the left side that was what I was masking, frame by frame. Then on the right side is the preview where the black areas are gone and the scene is being played behind him with no problems! Skip to about 19 seconds in and that video is the rendered project. I was playing it on VLC, Windows Media Player and even uploaded it to YouTube. Now, I play it frame by frame. Each time the character moves the masked area doesn’t until a frame later and it looks messed up. Like everything I masked is delayed a frame when it shouldn’t be.

Basically, my rendered video isn’t masked perfectly frame by frame but the preview in the program looks perfect frame by frame. I hope this was more clearer and thank you!
