Try burning your DVDs at the lowest speed possible — I usually use 4x and it works well with older players

    Thanks Seth,
We currently keep a running list of our tapes in an excel spreadsheet program. We do training videos for a state agency and we will soon need to be able to search our archive not just for tapes but for clips within those tapes that has to do with a specific topic. Let’s say, for example, that we are asked to provide a list of every training that contains direction on the proper procedure for handling exposure to Meth labs. We may have a 5-minute clip in eight different videos and would like to be able to identify which videos they are quickly. Some footage is stored on archival hard drives, the rest would need to be recaptured so in and out points would be great for both. That way we could compile a new project with just the appropriate clips.
The main thing is finding something that can capture metadata from both Vegas and VideoToaster.

The template I downloaded from surething labeler has a background color assigned to the DVD (in this case pink). I can choose a different color, but I don’t want a color. I would like to make the bottom layer of the DVD clear or transparent. I didn’t see the background option/lock you were talking about on the template I have.

I don’t care if I use the surething template or not, I just thought that would be the way to go since that is the software we use to print the labels. Anyone know where I can find a good full-face (prints to the edges and smaller hole in middle) DVD template or how to create one?

    Thanks

Thanks. Any idea how I can avoid this problem in the future? Is it better to make your switches, run the wizard and THEN add PNGs or graphics?
