    That’s great Tomas, I’ll try that. Quicktime seems to present itself as the default. Perhaps it was back in the days of CS6.

    Hi Tomas,

    CS6 does appear to have Media Encoder, but I haven’t managed to launch it yet.

    I’ve been using Handbrake in the meantime and getting improved results.

    Hi Dave,

    I feared this might be the case, but a script to help some of the donkey-work sounds a good idea. At least I’ve not missed an obvious feature built into AE that simplifies the process.
