Thanks. I do not know why they didn’t shoot in Advanced Mode. But they want the option of doing a film out, so we are unfortunately stuck trying to deal with doing a reverse telecine. We have read the articles you sent over. One is from 2002, haven’t there been updates in CinemaTools since then?

thanks for your responses. Has anyone had experience purchasing 4 tb of drive space? we are concerned about having investors looking at low resolution cuts. Also, I doubt we have smooth runnning time code on these miniDV tapes so it seems that the cost of doing a manual online could be as much as buying the right drives in the first place. However our budget is limited so we are looking at all the options out there. what do you guys think about trying to buy used drives? has anyone had experience with the G-Raid Pro? any and all advice is welcome.
