May 29, 2007 at 8:06 am in reply to: Internal + External Mic’s working together … Please help, Im so lost.Hey,
Thanks for all the info. I have tried both suggestions and it hasn’t worked. Should the wireless receiver be plugged into input 1 or input 2 ? And also the [edward chick] “Laura, set channel 1 to external, channel 2 to internal.”
I set channel 1 to external but there is no setting that allows me to set channel 2 to internal. There is a setting called ‘audio monitors’ that has 4 settings ‘CH1,CH2’, ‘CH1’, ‘CH2’, ‘CH1+CH2’. Is this where I change internal to channel 2 ?QOUTE FROM ANOTHER FORUM
Having worked with this camera for 1.5 years, I have never been able to use an internal with external mic. I can use two externals or the internal. I’ve had many a sound man and cam op say it has to be possible – then they’ve all spent 20 minutes playing with the settings and no luck. I use a wireless and a shotgun in tandem and the coverage is awesome. Hope this helps. Best of luck. Kind Regards, Chris K.Is this true ??
Thanks again for replying as I know this is a hard topic to discuss when camera is not infront of you.

Hey,
Either the spin or the fly in/out. I just want them to last about 2 seconds. I remember in final cut pro you could just drag the transition to lengthen it.

Actually that worked better than I thought, now theres just a bar at the right hand side of the picture. It looks a hell of a lot better so thank very much ! 🙂

Hi Zipedit,
I tried that and it didnt seem to change them. The video was shot on a “Sony HVR-Z1E/Z1P”, and the images are just still images taken from the video. Yet all the bars around the shots are different sizes and in different places, which results in it not looking professional enough for an Ad to represent the company. I am going insane trying to fix this.
Thanks

Hey guys,
Thanks a million, that was all really good advice. Im doing ads for the company Im working with too so they have to look professional, so thanks again. It ads with what the customers have said about the company.
Also to Fuddam, I did mean video event fx, I am making the text move accross the screen by using key frames, so thats how Im having movement in there.
One last question, all my images and video seem to have black borders around them, now this would be ok if they were all the same size borders, but they vary. I have made the image larger and the resolution higher but after that they dont look very well, any ideas ???
Thanks

Thank you. And is there any way of doing the same thing in Video event Fx, because I cannot c the arrow graphic in there.

and also when I draw an image in photoshop and import it into vegas, why does the image change size, it always ends up being massive.
