Can you be more specific? I am a RAID novice.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I checked the zoom and at 100%, in the Top view, my icons appear so far away, that I can barely make them out. I have to zoom in to 1500% to see the motion of the camera at all.
I perspective view, they look skewed, distorted, but at least they are normal sized.

    Hi Andy,
3D scene icons are definitely on. Everything looks fine in Active Camera view. And I can see the camera in perspective view, but the footage is skewed. When I go into Top, Bottom, Left or Right I have to zoom in so close to see my footage, it’s like Motion thinks my footage is 2 pixels wide. The camera is there but it is so tiny and there is no range indicator.
Are there some crazy settings that I can’t see that makes my footage appear so small in a huge 3d space?
I can’t work in 3D with the workspace acting like this.

I am having the same issue with Motion 3.
It does appear in Perspective mode, but it is missing from the top view.

    Hi,
After all of that, it was just a setting in AE CS3.
    Window
    AJA Preview.
Change to “enable playback during preview”
Change “primary format” to match your footage size.
    Than was it!
Should post this in the AJA forum as well.
Thanks for all of your help!

    Hi Dave,
    Thanks for responding.
I am using DVCPRO HD 720P60.
This started happening in the last several months and the only thing I can think of that changed in that timeframe, besides software updates, was that the Aja Kona lhe was replaced. Other than that, I am stumped.

    Ok,
I finally had some time to run all of those tests you suggested. Then I reinstalled After Fffects CS3. Guess what? I still do not have real time ram preview. Adobe’s website is not helpful.
Perhaps it’s a setting on the Aja Kona lhe card?
I am at my wits end. I cannot work in AE without a Ram Preview.

I tried that too, with an Apple tech person on the phone. No luck.
Looks like my machine needs service.
    Thanks for your help.
