April 12, 2010 at 5:12 pm in reply to: FTP or Compresser, what is the problem?

Using MAC OS X VERSION 10.5.8 on all computers.

Porgram stream settings: MPEG 2, set to mTSC Video format, frame rate of 29.97, aspect ratio 4:3, field dominance is bottom first, quality is 6.0 to 9.0, GOP structure is IBBP and sized to 15, and multiplexed to MPEG 1/Layer 2 Audio in program stream.

I always export to my desktop.

I use Western Scartch Discs where my video files are stored. All video files are quicktime files.

I edit in FCP, currently on version 6.0.6.

If there is anything else, let me know and I will provide it.

    Thank you for the assistance.

No. It’s from the format settings. I’ve tried other formats and I can hear fine, but not for any MPEG settings. I’ve tried 2 different computers.
